I was inspired by Glee's almost Finkle wedding to create a classic city hall wedding board. Having planned a 500+ wedding there were plenty of days when I wish we had done this. Simple ceremonies like these have so much to offer and I can't wait to for the return of Glee in April. Imagine pearls, shorter dresses, black and white photos, classic cars, and an intimate ceremony, enjoy!

Dramatic Destination Wedding

Love the high fashion drama of this wedding. With that stunning princess gown, pink decor, chandeliers, and a French themed reception, it's a grown up princess wedding. The wedding was held at the Mondrian Hotel in Miami Beach, and the bride wore a stunning dress and Spanish veil that were both handmade in Ecuador. And with these beautifully captured pictures I couldn't help falling in love with this wedding. Happy Monday!

...flock together, especially those of a peacock feather. Deep purples, teal blues, and jeweled greens are one my favorite color combinations, and they're also the colors found in a peacock feather. I love that you could choose to feature all the colors or pick one and design you wedding around that. Pink Parisian Wedding

Ever since our anniversary trip to Paris 2 years ago, I find myself missing Paris a little more each day. Maybe it's the atmosphere, or the lovely people, but Paris will always have a soft spot in my heart. Love this pink Parisian wedding from that dress to the stunning photos there's so much to love. The intimate ceremony held in a small park across the street from the Rodin Museum. Love that Holly & Scott embraced the lock tradition, we saw so many of them when we were walking the streets of Paris. Love all of the soft romance that their wedding exudes.

This weekend is one of my favorite award shows and Hollywood's biggest night, the Academy Awards. This Oscar Viewing party from Twig & Thistle is perfect for gathering friends, discussing red carpet attire, and cheering on your favorite actor/director/movie. The{little}Details Event: Bling & Bubbly Shower - Food & Pretty Paper

We are finishing our recap of the Bling & Bubbly Bridal Shower with one of my favorites, the food. We had a large spread that included: mushroom & sage flat bread; Bree & pear flat bread; roasted eggplant hummus; mango and cilantro rice salad served in takeout boxes with blinged chopsticks; veggie crudites and dip; a fruit platter complete with pineapple flowers; pesto, roasted red peppers, and walnut pinwheels; cheese tortellini skewers with pesto sauce; and veggie cutlets. Dessert included strawberry and champagne sorbet, Carmel corn, and butter cakes.

The invitation for the bridal shower incorporated our color palette of pale pinks and gold, with some added sparkle and embossed envelopes. Upon arriving at the shower, guests received the "Push for Champagne and a Bridal Shower" signs from the door man as a reminder of the party's location, we created a He Says, She Says based upon stats about the bride and groom as well as Facebook statuses as one of the games, and we had a couple scattered water bottles with custom labels.

The{little}Details Event: Bling & Bubbly Bridal Shower - Decor

We are continuing this week's Bling & Bubbly bridal shower series today with the decor. Our color palette was shades of pink and blush, gold, and crystal accents. We had a great space to work with and were able to take advantage of some great built ins. The built ins held game prizes which were stemless champagne flutes from Pier1 in pink bags; favors for the guests: personalized mini champagne bottles with a sign that read "Thank you for popping by, please take one"; water bottles, a copy of the shower invite, and a Save Water, Drink Champagne sign. We created large flower balls in gold and pink to enhance the color palette, and added a crystal garland that hung over the food table. We also had guests RSVP with a picture of themselves and the bride-to-be that we used to create a giant "P", the bride-to-be's first initial, display. And the bride-to-be sat in a chair with a gorgeous custom made wedding dress inspired chair cover.

The{little}Details Event: Bling & Bubbly Bridal Shower- the Bellini Bar

This week we'll be sharing the lovely details behind the Bling & Bubbly Bridal Shower we threw our bestie. Starting with the Bellini Bar. The theme for the Bellini Bar was: Save Water, Drink Champagne. Step one was choosing your fruit: we had strawberry and mango purees, as well as pomegranate and orange juices in mason jars. Add condiments such as raspberries, blueberries, lemon sprigs, and mint to enhance the flavor. Step two add your Brut, and step three enjoy! And just in case, we also offered guests citrus and mint infused water. We dressed up the Bellini bar with mini apothecary jars full of old corks, blinged out stir sticks, coasters we embossed to match her invite, a Save Water and Drink Champagne sign, and of course some scattered crystals. Each guest had her own personalized champagne flute waiting for her, and the bride-to-be had an extra special blinged out champagne flute.

Sparkling gold, hints of red, and lots of adorableness make for a festive Valentine's Day photo shoot. They even created handmade Valentine's Day card to share with one another over their romantic and dinner for two. With a red velvet cake, that's twice the love, and petite fours to celebrate their love and sweet tooth. Love the modern and glamorous feel of their photo shoot. Happy Valentine's Day!

Love this darling little lamb birthday party. Designed around the birthday girl's favorite toy, this lush neutral color palette included white, cream, carmel and chocolate brown with different textures including fleece, yarn, wool, and burlap to tie it all together. The beautiful dessert spread included: custom puffy sheep sugar cookies, fluffy white cotton candy, cinnamon pinwheel cookies, white cheddar popcorn cones, caramel apples, powdered sugar and cinnamon donut holes and caramel apple cake shooters! Golden Reindeer Holiday Party

This past weekend was our secret santa/cookie exchange/beer exchange/ugly sweater holiday party extravaganza! We had guests bring either a dozen cookies or a six pack of their favorite brew, it's a great way to get the non-bakers involved. The color pallet was red, gold, glitter, and reindeer. We added holiday cheer with ornaments in apothecary jars, hand made ornaments hung in the window, a "Merry & Bright" sign over the fireplace, and a photo frame wall. We had a spread of appetizers which included a meats & truffled cheese spread, tortellini skewers with pesto dip, eggplant dip, salsa, and much more. For the beverages we had a hot coco station, pomegranate-champagne fizz punch, and a DIY drink station.

We laid out cut out reindeers so that guests could label their baked goods

We even had a munchkin tree

Our different drink stations, complete with stir sticks.

From Phu(mother of fabulous one year old): After taking Elle's 7 month photos, there was a very posed photo that inspired Elle's 1st birthday party. Elle Magazine. As someone not so fashion forward, we concentrated on photos, the font for ELLE on the cover, some of the magazine's standard headlines, and the colors pink, black and white to carry on the theme throughout the party. Invitations were the inspiration photo mocked up as a magazine cover with tag lines indicating elements of the party. RED CARPET READY? Paparazzi Perfect Picture Poses: We hired a photographer to take photos of the guests entering the house on the red carpet and stopping at our mini step and repeat. Guests received this photo as part of their thank you for coming.
