Modern & Girly Birthday Party

Playing off of a 'favorite things' theme, this lucky toddler had all her friends over for a lavish modern yet girly 2nd birthday party.  How adorable is that dress up station!  Details I love: each child had their own place card, Storey's favorite things were written out in calligraphy on canvases throughout the space, and the table that featured 36' balloons with tassels.  And that dessert table is to die for!

Girl Scouts Party

It's that time of year again, where you get suckered into buying multiple boxes of delicious cookies but a preteen in a green vest.  I just placed an order for thin mints, carmel delights, and shortbread cookies, in my defence my unborn child was craving them.  That's why I love this Girl Scouts themed party for making sure you don't eat all those cookies by yourself, or as a fundraising technique to sell the most boxes.  With pink and green color palette, stripped and ribbon accents, and the Girl Scout logo, this adorable party would be perfect for any Girl Scout or troop.

Winter Wonderland Birthday Party

Given the weather this past week, this winter wonderland birthday party is the perfect excuse to stay indoors.  I love all the pastel colors, the soft ambiance, the delicious treats and the festiveness of the party.  The goodies included: chocolate covered pretzels, Oreo pops, sugar cookies, marshmallow flakes, choclate mini balls, wonderland cake, and of course hot cocoa and milk.  So festive and perfect for a girly winter birthday party.

Chic Mad Hatter Bridal Shower

I am obsessed with this vintage chic mad hatter bridal shower, it's seriously adorable!  I love the chic little details, and the play on the mad hatter theme.  With gold accents, flea market china, paper embellishments, and gorgeous trinkets, this fairytale tea party really comes to life.  I can't decide what I love more the beautiful water color menu, the eat me cookies, or the lovely centerpieces.

She's Ready to POP Baby Shower

I'm not the biggest fan of a repeat theme, but this ready to pop baby shower was executed perfectly, I just had to share it with you.  I love the varying shades of pink, cream, and gold together, they create the perfect combination of girly elegance.  If you love this party, check out the other gorgeous party details they have at their Etsy store.

From the Host:
Tissue poms floated over the food and drink table, with the three different blends of popcorn taking center stage. We had sweet and savory popcorn options, plus other “pop-related” food items like Cheesy Popovers, Chocolate Cake Pops and yummy Kettle Popcorn Cookies. For the beverages we served Rose Sparkling Wine, Italian Soda Pop, Sparkling Water, Red and White Wine. For the party favors, we put together bags filled with “things that go pop”, which included: Mini-Champagne to pop open on 02.29.12 (baby’s due date), Pop Rocks (who doesn’t love those?), Gumballs, Kettle Popcorn and Cake Pops.

Preppy and Nautical 1st Birthday Party

Love this adorable pink and blue nautical and preppy 1st birthday party.  With all the varying patterns, stripes, and textures, it's delicious eye candy.  The little party goers snacked on individually packaged "catch of the day" goldfishes, sailor sandwiches, and sailboat skewers, and  of course a dessert spread that included yogurt, cupcakes, cookies, and cake! Love everything about this adorable party, and it's adaptable for a baby shower too!

Coco Chanel Scent Bar

As promised, a recap of the lovely scent bar we created for the Parisian Coco Chanel inspired bridal shower.  With head, heart, and base notes to choose from, guests could create their own signature scent or make one of the provided scent recipes.   We had custom roller ball perfume bottles made with the bride-to-be's name for guests to take their signature scents and favors home in.  And no Parisian Coco Chanel inspired bridal shower would be complete without an Eiffel Tower guest book.
