Fall Harvest

Happy Monday!  Fall is officially here, but in the off chance you're enjoying an extended Indian Summer, I put together a fall harvest inspiration board, perfect for warmer fall weather.  Love the warmth of early fall colors, and the natural textures from burlap to jute to hay and linen.  Here's to Fall!

Our homage to emerald, as Patone's color of 2013.  I think emerald green is a brilliant and show-stopping choice.  It's impeccably regal and sophisticated, and can be paired with white or gold to create a stunning effect.  From luxurious statement pieces, to an all out emerald color palette, incorporating emerald will make any soiree stand out.

Rustic NYC Wedding Inspiration

Yesterday was the launch of Lover.ly.  The brain child of several wedding blogs including: Grey Likes Weddings, The Wedding Chicks, Southern Wedding Magazine, Snippet and Ink, and many more.  Their content is featured Pinterest style, you can love or bundle (much like pinning) photos.  Search by colors like Cabernet, cobalt, blush, and slate; styles such as vineyard, rustic, classic; or by categories such as flowers, bridal gowns, cakes, and stationary.  They even sort their content by popular, categories, and featured.  Happy pinning bundling.

Hunger Games Wedding Inspiration

A Tuscan Inspired Wedding Shoot

I adore this Tuscan inspired shoot photographed by Mike Larson and styled by Alchemy Fine Events & Invitations.  From the rustic Italian elements in contrast with the chic modern styling, it's both classic and stylish.  The ghost chairs are perfection, the stunning glass calligraphy name plates are so classically rustic and the wine and cheese buffet is divine. Love that this photo shoot depicts an insanely glamorous intimate wedding,  that can be accomplished on a smaller budget.  This makes me miss Italy like crazy, how lovely would it be to attend a wedding like this!

Birds of a Feather...

...flock together, especially those of a peacock feather. Deep purples, teal blues, and jeweled greens are one my favorite color combinations, and they're also the colors found in a peacock feather.  I love that you could choose to feature all the colors or pick one and design you wedding around that.  There are endless ideas and possibilities with a peacock themed wedding, and so many lovely ways to show them off. Some peacock inspiration for your soiree, enjoy!   And don't forget to enter our blog-aversary giveaway, to win some lovely earrings!
