Gotham City Dinner Party

A dinner party after my own heart!  I am obsessed with this going Gotham City dinner party.  I love the beautifully executed Gotham City skyline, and the fact that the 'costumes' are provided for you!   With gorgeous gold accents and cutlery, lux linens, and bat silhouettes in the form of stir sticks, it's equal parts sophisticated and Halloween-ish!  More from Cassandra, (the creative genius behind this party): To create that gritty city look, we layered hard metals on a linen with plenty of texture, and added gold flatware to pop. The patterns on the china and napkin mimic the glowing windows of city lights – a nice touch to compliment the centerpieces.

Spooky Dessert table

An all hallows eve party that invokes the ambiance of this season's American Horror Story: Coven.  With its foreboding dessert table, voodoo inspired drink bar and candy table.  It's almost too eerie to partake until you feast your eyes and taste buds on their delicious treats!

Wicked Witches Tea Party

How fantastic is this grown up spooky tea party.  Based on Macbeth's Act 4, "By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes", you can see the wording repeated in the decor and favors of this wicked tea party.  With a cream, white, and black color palette, the haunting crows and clocks really pop in the decor. Loralee did a phenomenal job pulling the event together!

Pick Your Poison Halloween Beverage Bar

Every adult friendly Halloween party needs an excellent beverage bar.  I'm loving the macabre pick your poison drink bar.  With it's shades of black, spooky skulls, and re-purposed wine bottles as lighting, it sets the stage for a frightfully good time.  With drinks like black widow's punch, you never know where the night could lead.

Rustic NYC Wedding Inspiration

Love this rustic and modern wedding inspiration.  With the masculine bar, full of leather, woods, and deep hues, to the billowy cake that mirrors the bride's dress.  From the wood featured through out the space, and the organic florals, and the varying hues of purple throughout the space, we love this refreshing city wedding.   This shoot is both rustic and oh so glamorous, Happy Monday!

One Year Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Your wedding is an amazing day, but all too often in flies by too quickly.  All those months of planning are over in one weekend.  That's why I love this surprise wedding anniversary idea.  This bride decided to throw a surprise wedding anniversary for her husband, and she wanted to be surprised herself, so she left the details up to their wedding planner.  Their anniversary turned into a scavenger hunt, with a surprise rooftop dinner, followed by another surprise party with their friends and family.  What a great idea for any anniversary.

Run for the Roses: Kentucky Derby Inspiration

This Saturday is both Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby. I've always wanted to attend the Kentucky Derby, sipping a mint julep, and sporting a large floppy hat.  If you aren't able to make it to Louisville this weekend, then bring the Kentucky Derby to you.  Whether you prefer sipping on a margarita (on the rocks with salt, please) or a mint julep, here's some Kentucky Derby inspiration for your weekend, enjoy!

Oscar Viewing Party Thats DIY Friendly

This weekend is one of my favorite award shows and Hollywood's biggest night, the Academy Awards.  This Oscar Viewing party from Twig & Thistle is perfect for gathering friends, discussing red carpet attire, and cheering on your favorite actor/director/movie.  I adore all the downloadable and printable elements of this party and that beautiful invitation.  What else would you serve at an Oscar viewing party, popcorn!  And that Oreo cookie cake, is perfect for dunking in your milk glass!

Pop, Sparkle, and Fizzy NYE

Nothing says NYE like confetti and sparkles, love the fun details from this Amy Atlas dessert table. The huge clock display is the perfect backdrop for any NYE table, and the bright colors with silver accents finish off this festive party.  Love the ingenious use of votive candle holders for your mini cupcakes!  And the lil treats, mini kisses and the Tic Tac breath mints, are perfect for your midnight kiss.
