Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 cup lager (such as Blackened Voodoo)
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2/3 cup sour cream
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350

5. Mix the stout mixture into the egg mixture.
6. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet.
7. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins.
8. Bake for 15 minutes for regular size or 9 minutes for minis, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to cooling rack to cool completely.
Bailey’s Cream Cheese Frosting
- 5 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 1/4 cup confectioners sugar, sifted
- 2 1/2 tablespoons of Bailey’s Irish cream
