Fall Harvest

Happy Monday!  Fall is officially here, but in the off chance you're enjoying an extended Indian Summer, I put together a fall harvest inspiration board, perfect for warmer fall weather.  Love the warmth of early fall colors, and the natural textures from burlap to jute to hay and linen.  Here's to Fall!

Emerald Green

Our homage to emerald, as Patone's color of 2013.  I think emerald green is a brilliant and show-stopping choice.  It's impeccably regal and sophisticated, and can be paired with white or gold to create a stunning effect.  From luxurious statement pieces, to an all out emerald color palette, incorporating emerald will make any soiree stand out.

Golden Gatsby Inspiration

The Mister and I went to watch a movie this weekend and saw a preview of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.  I cannot wait to watch this movie, I love the glamour and glitz of the 1920's.  Here's our take on a golden Gatsby soiree.

Wedding Inspiration: Thin Mints

Traditional Christmas Inspiration

Inspired by one of my favorite holiday movies, Little Women, I love the warmth and ambiance of a traditional holiday decor.  A traditional Christmas: where stockings were hung by the hearth, oranges were stuffed with cloves, carols were sung by the fire, and Christmas decor mostly involved bringing the outdoors in.  Some traditional Christmas inspiration for your holidays, enjoy!

Back to Nature Thanksgiving

An au natural Thanksgiving celebration.  With rustic elements, using the outdoors for decor and stylish presentation, and plenty of earth tones to warm any gathering, this simple table scape becomes the focal point of any Thanksgiving dinner.   Love that the colors of the autumn are vibrant at the dinner table, but aren't over powering in anyway, because let's face it, at Thanksgiving the food is the showstopper. This romantic end of summer/early fall photo shoot.  It's a simple concept that's both romantic and whimsical.  I love the soft peach and pink color pallet, the vintage touch added by the silver cutlery and gold edged plates, and the varying textures created by the poms, lace, and jute place mats.

I love the color combination of black and gold, it's both sexy and romantic and creates the perfect ambiance for a intimate Halloween party.  With candles casting shadows, golden pumpkins to reflect the dim lighting, and masquerade masks to create a sense of mystery, you have the elements of a gilded Halloween soiree.

Australian Winery Wedding

There is so much that I adore about this Australian Winery Wedding captured by Jonas Peterson.  From the brides impeccable style, hello top knot and swoon worthy Jenny Packham gown; the stunning Coriole Vineyards - the perfect backdrop to this outdoor ceremony; to the simple elegance of this wedding, and the infections love of this couple.  Their wedding was not only beautiful but so full of life and love.
