Pink & Purple Wedding Inspiration
With the big wedding around the corner we're sharing the lovely couple's color palette for their big day. It's a beautiful combination of blush, pink, & purple. The ceremony will feature a bolder pink and purple combination, while the reception will play with softer hues like blush and feature plenty of romantic candle light. Can't wait for the festive weekend ahead and to celebrate the beautiful couple.

Vintage & Rustic Rehearsal Dinner
So the BIL (brother-in-law) and soon to be sister-in-law are hosting a welcome dinner this Friday before their wedding ceremonies. Their welcome dinner is being hosted by extended family, and they have a beautiful outdoor space, which is perfect for the couple's rustic and vintage theme. Imagine hay bales as seating around a bonfire, old whiskey barrels as high boys or the base for a smores bar, and drinks stations with mason jars for friends and family to toast the happy couple. With any vintage and rustic theme natural elements play a big role. Raw wood (barrels, and directional signage); jute, burlap, and twine (as table runners, or wrapped around tins or mason jars); cotton balls (as decor); vintage glass bottles (as decor or centerpieces). Classic treats like spiked lemonade, iced tea, smore, and pies add the vintage element, and we love the idea of relabeling beer bottles your own brand of moonshine. Create an interactive drink station using the beer bottles as a ring toss, where guests get a chance to wine a prize (or a drink) if they get a ring around a bottle. This is a great alternative to corn holes, and adds the element of old school traveling carnivals. Finally, add modern conveniences like an outdoor station with cool towels, shawls, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent for guests to stay comfortable.

Wedding Stationary
I love Wedding Paper Divas, so much so that the Mister and I used them for our engagement party invitations as well as save the dates. Their cards and stationary are beautifully designed, and perfectly executed. And on GiltCity they're 50% off, $50 for $100 worth of credit. With everything from wedding invitations, to save the dates, thank yous, to bridal shower and bachelorette party invitations, to stationary and address stamps, you'll find something that fits your wedding needs!

Wedding Inspiration: Thin Mints
This weekend,I made this version of my favorite girl scout cookie: the thin mint. Which served as the inspiration behind today's wedding inspiration board. With bright mint grounded by warm chocolate hues, it's perfect for any springtime wedding. Happy Monday!

LA Wedding
Love this gorgeous garden inspired wedding with a touch of Spanish hacienda flair. The bride wore the most stunning mantilla veil trimmed in lace, which was mirrored in their reception decor with a papel picado. And her stunning bouquet featured deep reds and creamy white flowers. Guests dinned under an invisible tent created with twinkling lights and orange trees, while seated around a beautiful fountain. The tables were dressed with simple boxed centerpieces, featuring bright florals, and wood block table numbers. And this couple even had a mariachi band on hand to get the party started. It is a beautiful wedding with a beautiful couple.

Stunning Aussie Wedding
I am in love with this stunning Persian wedding with beautiful decor and these lovely shots showing off the happy couple. With an adorable proposal story that involved an elephant to the traditional Persian ceremony and opulent reception, there are so many wonderful details in this gorgeous wedding.

Classic Outdoor Wedding
I can't get enough of this lovely pink and white Toronto wedding. With it's beautifully simple details like hanging florals, candlelight, and butterflies, all creating stubble glamour. I adore the baby pink bridesmaids dresses and the all-white reception decor. It's part romance, part garden party, and part classic elegance, Enjoy!

Island Wedding
And we're back, although I'm desperately wishing I was still laying on a beach in Maui. In hopes of keeping that island feeling alive on this fall day, I'm excited about today's wedding. With it's fun, fresh, and vibrant colors and touch of elegance, it's a perfect island wedding. Love the bright orange, yellow and green color palette; tropical flowers; and beautiful tenting. A perfect way to spend the night under the stars!

A Fall Wedding
We are half way through Autumn and I thought this wedding was so appropriate, and not to mention I'm in love with the details. I'm a sucker for barns, and this wedding had not one but two barns! One for cocktail hour and the other was transformed from an old red barn into a stunning and whimsical reception. The decor was simple and autumn appropriate: painted pumpkins, feathers, old branches, lush greenery, and lanterns. And I love the dance floor under the stars with a live band idea. Happy Thursday!

Lovely South Hampton Wedding
There's so much that I love in this stunning, South Hampton wedding. I can't help 'oohhing' and 'ahhing' over all it's lovely pink and gold details - from the ribbons, florals, that cake (stunning!), parasols and reception linens. With such attention to detail and lovely accents, this wedding is both lavish and intimate. And the story of how these two met, is adorable!
And as if that wasn't enough, the couple pulled together a gorgeous sea-side soiree for their rehearsal dinner. So chic!

Celebrity Wedding: Michael Buble
I know I'm a couple months late on this one, but I rediscovered some lovely shots of Michael Buble's wedding reception in British Columbia, and I swooned. I love lounge areas at any reception, they create beautiful visuals as well as perfect conversation nooks for your guests. Love their lush, lush, lush pink florals, white ottomans and couches, mirrored tables, and hanging crystals. Lovely!
