Mad Scientist

We have finally decided on our Halloween costumes for this year, we will be a family of Mad Scientists.  And I'm creating a dessert table to go with our costumes.  I was in need of some inspiration and I came across this electrifying mad scientist party.  I'm so in love with everything about this dessert table from the hanging chains, the high voltage signage, and the electronic tester.  Everything about this party screams Frankenstein's Lab.  It's the perfect backdrop for a Halloween party or in this case, a little one's birthday party!

Dream Big Dreams Baby Shower

I love the muted colors, sky and sunset, of this Dream Big Dreams baby shower.  It gives off a peaceful and dreamy ambiance, full of enchantment.  With hot air balloon accents,  gorgeous draping, suspended lanterns, and thoughtful herbs &  floral centerpieces, their church basement went from drab to fab.  Proving that you can have a beautiful event on a small budget, and in any venue.  Happy Thursday!

Vintage Paper Plane Birthday Party

I love this cleaver and adorable paper plane birthday party!  I can't get enough of the vintage twist, with muted navy and red color palette, and adorable details.  The test flight zone is so smart, and a great way to entertain the kiddos, while the in flight refreshments will keep the adults happy.  And I love the use of galvanized tubs, silver accents, vintage crates and baskets, and mini suitcases throughout the party.

Modern & Girly Birthday Party

Playing off of a 'favorite things' theme, this lucky toddler had all her friends over for a lavish modern yet girly 2nd birthday party.  How adorable is that dress up station!  Details I love: each child had their own place card, Storey's favorite things were written out in calligraphy on canvases throughout the space, and the table that featured 36' balloons with tassels.  And that dessert table is to die for!

Winter Wonderland Birthday Party

Given the weather this past week, this winter wonderland birthday party is the perfect excuse to stay indoors.  I love all the pastel colors, the soft ambiance, the delicious treats and the festiveness of the party.  The goodies included: chocolate covered pretzels, Oreo pops, sugar cookies, marshmallow flakes, choclate mini balls, wonderland cake, and of course hot cocoa and milk.  So festive and perfect for a girly winter birthday party.

A Spooky Halloween Party

It was love at first sight with this spooky Halloween party.  I am completely obsessed with the black forest cut outs that frame the dessert table perfectly.  Not to mention the other great details, like the beautifully jeweled pumpkins, the ghost meringues (so festive), candelabras, black crows, and ghost bowling game in the front lawn.  Of course it wouldn't be a Halloween party without the treats, and they look delicious: Spider Oreo Truffles,  Meringue Ghosts, Chocolate Popcorn, Creepy Cupcakes, White Pumpkin Truffles, Caramel Apples, Black Licorice, Candy Sticks, Lindor Chocolates, and Yogurt Pretzels.

WALL-E Birthday Party

How adorable is this Pixar inspired WALL-E birthday party?  I loved the story of WALL-E, the robot who fell in love with another robot EVE, and went on an adventure that changed the world.  This adorable birthday party captures all of the WALL-E's charm.  Love the geometric backdrop, the WALL-E inspired desserts, and the plant sample, party favors are perfect!
