Winter Wonderland Birthday Party

Given the weather this past week, this winter wonderland birthday party is the perfect excuse to stay indoors.  I love all the pastel colors, the soft ambiance, the delicious treats and the festiveness of the party.  The goodies included: chocolate covered pretzels, Oreo pops, sugar cookies, marshmallow flakes, choclate mini balls, wonderland cake, and of course hot cocoa and milk.  So festive and perfect for a girly winter birthday party.

Classic Upstate New York Wedding

This intimate and classic New York wedding is a combination of a secret garden and classic charm.  The bride donned a stunning Vera Wang gown, and the bridesmaids wore lovely gowns in slate grey.  The ambiance created by suspended birdcages; a black and white palette; lush floral arrangements with lavender, pink and vanilla roses; a custom black carpet; floating candles in a pool, and dancing the night away under hanging chandeliers, make this wedding nothing short of timeless.

Lavender & Yellow

{First row: Lavender Roses, Yellow Birds, Purple Table No.; Second Row: Yellow Orchid Boutonniere, Program, HE Wedding Sign; Third Row:  Brushed Cookies, Lavender Macaroons; Fourth Row: Reception, Yellow Calla Lilies, Lavender, Lavender Crème Brulee}
I love the softness of lavender of set by bright and cheery yellow.  This board started with those beautiful DIY birds used to display wedding rings, and came together with delicious lavender infused creme brulee and lavender macaroons, yum!  Some of my favorites include that adorable program, the lavish reception decor, and the wonderful HE wedding sign (the bride and groom put together all the attributes they loved most about one another and the result were these fun large posters).   Would you do a lavender and yellow wedding?
